Living Life

Sometimes we need to
          stop analyzing the past,
stop planning the future,
stop figuring out precisely how we feel,

stop deciding exactly what we want,
          and just see what happens.

Short Post but I saw that quote and loved it. I think sometimes in life we get so caught up in things that don't matter. We stress out about the future and what it holds instead of actually living our lives to the fullest right now. Thinking about the past all the time, replaying things in your mind isn't going to change it. You might never know exactly what you want or how you feel but should that stop you from doing things. I'll answer that question DEFINITELY NOT. Worrying about stuff and over analyzing won't get you anywhere. you have to live everyday in the present and just be happy your alive. Don't worry about every little thing sometimes its best to just simply let things go and "just see what happens"

Big C # 1 Change:

Change is inevitable - except from a vending machine.  -Robert C. Gallagher

If you're in a bad situation, don't worry it'll change.  If you're in a good situation, don't worry it'll change.  -John A. Simone, Sr.

Dealing with changes is always hard but impossible to avoid Everyday brings new changes, good and bad. The most difficult changes to deal with are the ones you don't want to happen. During the teenage years though you can pretty much expect life to change completely in a day. One day you might be best friends with someone the next day they're you enemy. You might think your dating your soul mate and the next day they dump you. Now how do you deal with these changes? You keep your head up and realize things will be OK. All things happen for a reason and no matter what things do get better. Cope with change don't regret or complain about how things turned out. Doing that will just make your life ten billion times harder. Hang out with friends and especially family, get more involved in school or a sport to help cope with changes. Just stay positive and remember some changes are for the best even if you don't realize it at first. You never know where life is taking you but its definitely taking you somewhere.

My Change Story:
Eighth grade through most of sophomore year I had an amazing best friend. We literally did everything together. At the time I couldn't of even dreamed of not being with her every second of every day. We had sleep overs as much as possible (even on school nights). We were close to each others families and everything. Well sophomore year we both started changing (or growing up) and we basically grew apart. We still talk and stuff but we hardly hang out. Yes, its weird not being best friends still and not having her be there alll the time but i survived didn't I? I'm still happy and loving life with new friends that are great.

First Post- The Three Big C's

Each post will start off with a quote that will then lead into advice, a story or something similar.
I am stronger than depression and I am braver than loneliness and nothing will ever exhaust me -Elizabeth Gilbert
As a teenager myself I realize exactly how hard life as a teen can be. Every day can be a challenge. Between family, boys (or girls) , friends, and even teachers life can get pretty complicated. It feels like we're always trying to please someone. But I think teens need to realize that yes, making others happy is important but so is pleasing yourself. During the teenage years we undergo many changes, challenges, and make big choices. I like to refer to these as the three big C's. Just keep in mind how you handle the three big c's makes a difference. Stay strong, be brave,  and remain positive. Doing that can help you survive the teenage years and be happy.
